Axel Vanhooren

From the beginning of his career Axel Vanhooren has been active in the development of information systems. This is based on two ideas: Understanding information systems and understanding how to build them. After several years, Axel Vanhooren has been active in Project Management. This triggered his interests in management. It also introduced the human factor. Creating is one of Axel Vanhooren driving forces. Although he remains interested in Project Management, he decided to reorient his career to more conceptual functions. By associating the concepts of information systems, and their development, with the human factor, knowledge of management and understanding of the companies as a socio-technical system, het gets involved in Enterprise Engineering. To further develop this domain and to offer others the opportunity to reap the benefits of this domain, he created Taurus Enteprise Engineering.
